Obituary for William Damon Webb Jr.
WEBB, William Damon Jr., age 78, a resident of Wetumpka, Al., passed away Saturday, September 24, 2022.
The family will receive friends, Wednesday, September 28, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. at Gassett Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at 12:00 p.m. at Greenwood Cemetery in Montgomery with Rev. Jonathan Hart officiating. Gassett Funeral Home of Wetumpka directing.
Mr. Webb retired from Alabama Power Company with 29 years of service. He loved his family, and his grandchildren, as well as his fur babies Oliver, Olivia, and Alfie. He loved golfing, the beach and he had a home on Lake Martin for 20 years.
Survivors include his wife of 34 years, Susan Thompson Webb; children William Damon Webb III, Shannon Varner (Mark), Renee Golden (Glenn), and Barry Wright Jr. (Melinda); six grandchildren Cole Varner, Kaley Varner, Katherine Golden, Kyle Golden, Zachary Golden, and Anna Claire Wright.
