Walter Gene Luster, 63, of Wetumpka, AL, unexpectedly passed
away on March 31, 2022.
Born in Wetumpka to Matthew Clyde Luster and Mary Edith Luster,
Walter was an adventurous and mischievous boy. Walter was
fiercely passionate about woodworking and dedicated his life to
both his career and his family especially his grandchildren.
Walter was a strong, kind, loving, and supportive father. His
comical personality could always shine light on any difficult
situation. His knowledge and guidance with woodworking and
gardening will leave a lastly impression on his children and
grandchildren.
Walter was proceeded in death by his parents Matthew Clyde
Luster and Mary Edith Luster; and brother Matthew Clyde Luster
Jr. and leaves behind five brothers Joe Luster, Frank Luster (Annie),
Eddie Luster (Karen), Ricky Luster (Joyce), Johnny Luster, and his
sister Becky Roten (Gene). His children Wally Luster (Debra Kay),
Adam Luster, and Samantha Stoddard (Dwayne). His grandchildren
Perry, Paige, Parker, Michael, Madalyn, Preslyn and two great
grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at Thelma Baptist Church on April
5, 2022 at 5:00pm.With Rev. Doug Chapelle officiating.
