Obituary for Walter Lee Davis
DAVIS, Walter Lee, a resident of Wetumpka, Alabama passed away Saturday, November 5, 2022 at the age of 75.
The family will receive friends, Tuesday, November 8, 2022 at 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Gassett Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, November 9, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Shoal Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Shane Russell and Rev. Gene DeVaughn officiating. Burial will be at New Home Cemetery with Gassett Funeral Home of Wetumpka directing.
Mr. Davis is survived by his wife Dot Davis; children Felicia Lee Weldon (Shannon), Walter Jay Davis; grandchildren Chase Levi Smith (Amber), Jessica Lee Smith; great-grandchildren Camdynn Sasser, Carlee Sasser, Colton Smith; siblings Elizabeth Ann Cothran, Jackie Chris Davis (Kay), and Wanda Phillips.
Pallbearers will be Chase Smith, Todd Davis, Brandon Esco, Dylan Sasser, Gary Davis, and Wyatt Spivey. Honorary pallbearers will be Jay Davis, Shannon Weldon, Wayne Weldon, Joe Koljack, Ray DeVaughn, and Christopher Davis in-memoriam.
