Obituary for Vivian Weldon McGinty
MCGINTY, Vivian Weldon, a resident of Wetumpka, Alabama passed away Thursday, October 13, 2022 at the age of 94.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, October 18, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. with the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. at Grace Baptist Church with Bro. Eric Sutton and Bro. Justin Teate officiating. Burial will be at Sheppard Cemetery with Gassett Funeral Home of Wetumpka directing.
Ms. McGinty is preceded in death by her parents Leonard & Lillie Weldon; husband T. A. “Teet” McGinty; sons Kenneth Wendell McGinty, Gerald Glenn McGinty, John Ferrell McGinty; brothers Lawrence Edwin Weldon, William D. Weldon; and grandson Jason McGinty.
She is survived by her daughter Donna K. (David) Gilliand; 8 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
Flowers will be accepted or memorial donations may be made to Grace Baptist Church, 304 Old Montgomery Hwy. Wetumpka, Alabama 36092.
