Obituary for Tammie Taylor Thigpen
THIGPEN, Tammie Taylor, a resident of Titus, Alabama passed away Thursday, May 12, 2022 at the age of 58.
The family will receive friends, Sunday, May 15, 2022 at 1:30 p.m. with the funeral service at 2:30 p.m. at New Home Baptist Church in Titus with Rev. Matt Nixon officiating. Burial will be at the church cemetery with Gassett Funeral Home of Wetumpka directing.
Mrs. Thigpen is preceded in death by her parents Daniel Lee Taylor & Eleanor O’ree Wilson Taylor; siblings Linda Bandy, Danny W. (Willadean) Taylor, Joseph M. (Ann) Taylor. She is survived by her husband Robert “Woody” Thigpen; son Jacob Daniel (Karly) Thigpen; siblings Dorothy T. (Norman) Luna, Elizabeth T. (Pete) Hayes, Connie Taylor, Richard D. (Tammy) Taylor, Donna T. (Rusty) Faulk; grandson Tucker; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Jimmy Thigpen, Samuel Thigpen, John Thigpen, Warren Britt, Jason Britt, Austin Faulk, Cory Hayes, and Hunter Taylor. Honorary pallbearers will be Randy Singleton, Bobby Singleton, Jeremy Singleton, and Josh Taylor.
