Obituary for Shirley Fay Garner
GARNER, Shirley Fay, a resident of Deatsville, Alabama passed away Friday, August 5, 2022, at the age of 80.
The family will receive friends, Monday, August 8, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. with the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. at Shoal Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Shane Russell officiating. Burial will be at Coosa River Cemetery with Gassett Funeral Home of Wetumpka directing.
Mrs. Garner is survived by her husband James R. Garner; son Donald (Jackie) Garner; sister Priscilla Powell; granddaughter Brandi (Jonathon) Carlisle; great grandson Jack Carlisle. She is preceded in death by her father Audie Forbus; mother Leona Hellums Forbus; brother Tommy Forbus and sister Christine Sullivan.
