Obituary for Senior Master Sgt. James Wilburn Brown
Senior Master Sgt. James Wilburn Brown, a resident of Wetumpka, Al passed away at his home on Thursday, May 19, 2022 at age 90.
He is survived by his wife, Lee Jane Brown; stepdaughters, Brenda Johnson, Debra Goodman, Renee Harrison, and Connie Watts; sister, Annette Caton; grandchildren Theresa McLain, Steve Loftis, and John Brown, and eight great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his children, Carl Douglas Brown, James Rex Brown, Velda Ann Beatty, and Bruce Howard Brown.
Funeral service will be held on Monday, May 23, 2022 at 2:30 p.m. at Gassett Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Douglas McKinney officiating. Burial will be at New Hope Baptist Cemetery, Deatsville, AL. with Gassett Funeral Home of Wetumpka directing. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
