Ronald James Kempter, passed away at his Wetumpka home on Saturday, May 7, 2022, at age 84. Wife Jeanette and daughter Suzanne were by his side.
Ron was born on Setember 26th in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Ron met Jeanette Heindl in 1956 and married in 1958 in Milwaulkee.
Mr. Kempter was a 12 year Veteran of the U.S. Air Force, then enjoyed a 25+ career with Sperry Rand/Unysis where his only customer was the US Air Force! Ron is survived by his wife of 63 years, Jeanette Kempter; children, Suzanne (Doug) Kempter-Miller, Karen (Terry) Knight, and Chris (Stephanie) Kempter, three grandchildren, Brittany, Brianne and Brett and 2 great grandchildren Reagan and Ruby. Son Robert John preceded Ron's death in 1986.
Besides his love for his family, he loved sharing stories in the 3 books he wrote about life experiences, the Military and his passion of fishing and hunting. Ron ended many sentences with an exclamation point! One of his favorite expressions was THISLDO!! (This Will Do!!) Ron also also had a love for numbers and his favorite was 13... Married on September 13, first daughter Suzanne born 13 month later, second daughter Karen, born 13 months after Suzanne. Ron's Birthdate (26), divided by Jeanette's (2) is 13. Ron/Dad our living husband and father will be greaty missed!!
