Obituary for Paula Melton Payne
PAYNE, Paula Melton, a resident of Wetumpka, Alabama passed away Friday, July 29, 2022 at the age of 68.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, August 2, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. with the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. at Gassett Funeral Home Chapel with Minister Paul Vick officiating. Burial will be at Sheppard Cemetery with Gassett Funeral Home of Wetumpka directing.
Mrs. Payne is preceded in death by her parents Jimmy & Dovie Melton and brother Steve Melton. She is survived by her husband Joe R. Payne, Jr.; children David Harrison, Dovie Vejarano, Dora Ratliff, DeAnn Miller, Joe Russell Payne III, Joseph (Clay) Payne; siblings Linda Mosley, David Melton, Wanda Nichols; 13 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren.
