Obituary for Olena Alvarado
Olena Alvarado passed away peacefully while surrounded by family on Friday, January 27, 2023 in Montgomery, AL. She was born on October 26, 1959 in Mykolaiv, Ukraine to Constantine Kovbasiuk and Liudmyia Zavadska.
Olena is survived by her loving husband, Manuel Alvarado, and faithful son, Kostiantyn Masliaiev. She was also deeply loved and cared for by a host of extended family and special friends.
Olena will be remembered for her humility, kindness, selflessness, and thoughtfulness. She lived a life of gratitude and displayed a servant heart toward all whom she met.
Olena’s family and friends will be holding a celebration of life ceremony in her honor in the spring.
