Obituary for Nina Darby Owens
OWENS, Nina Darby, 81, of Weoka, Alabama passed away Saturday, January 29, 2022 with her family by her side.
She was born to Harley and Christine Darby on August 16, 1940 in Elmore County. She graduated from Elmore County High School in 1957. She worked for the State of Alabama for twenty-eight years.
She is survived by her daughter Rosanna Owens Parker, (Rusty Parker) grandson Micah W. Parker, one aunt Ida Lou Darby, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Nina enjoyed spending time with her family. She loved flower gardening, playing guitar and Bible study.
Funeral service will be held Saturday, February 5, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. through video conferencing at via Zoom. Service officiated by Fred Kilbourne.
