Obituary for Mrs. Lillian J. Woodley
Mrs. Lillian J. Davis Woodley, age 90, a resident of Ft. Mill, SC and former resident of Millbrook, AL answered her Savior’s call and entered eternal life Sunday, April 2, 2023. She is survived by 3 of her 4 children and their families.
Debra Woodley McElfresh and Keith; Paul, Jackie, Teara and Lexi McElfresh; Alyssa and Nathan Algee. Stan Woodley and Sandy; Leah, Beau, and Tatum Reinmiller; Jonathan, Courtney, Caleb and Kendall Cox; Rebecca and Dimitri Pagoulato. Wanda Woodley and Jim.
She is also survived by her brother, Elisha Carl Davis and his wife, Mary Frances of Wetumpka, AL; as well as many extended family members and friends too numerous to list but not forgotten. Lillian is reunited with her beloved husband, Robert, and their infant son, Robert Douglas. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Elisha and Luna Ellen Nunnally Davis; her older sister, Eunice Davis Wint Williams and her sister-in-law, Elnor Busby Davis.
Mom loved the Lord, her family, the church and her many treasured friends. She and Dad traveled the world via the United States Air Force and her example of enduring friendships is a legacy to each of us.
Funeral services will be held at Crossroads Community Church (formerly known as Mt Hebron Baptist Church) 150 Mt Hebron Rd., Elmore, AL on Saturday, April 8, 2023. Visitation will begin at 2:00 PM and the service will follow at 3:00 PM. Interment will be in Crossroads Community Church/Davis Annex Cemetery.
Flowers may be sent in care of Gassett Funeral Home 204 East Charles Ave., Wetumpka, AL 36092. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Crossroads Community Church/Davis Annex Cemetery Fund.
