BOSWELL, Mr. Vonnie Robert, a resident of Eclectic, Alabama passed away on Friday, December 9, 2022 of a brief illness at the age of 51. He was a beloved father and brother.

The family will receive friends, Saturday, December 17, 2022 at 12:00 p.m. with the funeral service at 1:00 p.m. at Gassett Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Daren Davis officiating. Burial will be at Central Baptist Church Cemetery with Gassett Funeral Home of Wetumpka directing.

Vonnie is survived by his son Brent (Kelley) Boswell; sister Deborah (Kenny) Bowen; nieces Valerie (David) Edwards, Jessica Bowen Gann; nephew Jeremy (Emily) Boswell; great nephews Jakob Edwards, Declan Gann; great nieces Chevie and Cheyenne Boswell.

He is preceded in death by his parents Franklin and Louise Boswell; brother Randall Boswell; aunts, uncles, and extended family.

Throughout his life even as a young boy Vonnie enjoyed various activities while visiting the family’s property in Coosa County. He also enjoyed outdoor activities including fishing, hunting, and canoeing up and down various creeks but most of all he loved spending time with his family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Johnny Ray Self, Rodney Sanford, Kenny Bowen, Jeff Stewart, David Edwards, and Michael Boswell.
