Obituary for Margaret C. O'Dell
O’Dell, Margaret C., age 81 a resident of Wetumpka, Al passed away on September 28, 2022.
The family will receive guest for visitation at Gassett Funeral Home 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday October the 1st. The funeral will begin at 2:00 p.m. followed by graveside services at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, 1327 Pleasant Hill Rd, Eclectic, Al.
Margaret’s last weeks were hard for her; however, the Lord gave her a peaceful couple of hours prior to death. She was a strong woman that wanted to do things her way, and it was hard for her to need others to help her. She enjoyed her yard and garden, loved to read and learn, and to spend time traveling with Jim her husband. She had many lifelong friends she spent time with. Her grandson Joseph was a special joy to her. She liked flowers and whoever wishes may send them.
She is survived by: Jim O’Dell her husband of 53 years, her son Jonathan O’Dell his wife Holly, and her grandson Joseph O’Dell, numerous Colley relatives, and loving in laws.
