Obituary for Linda Adams Myers
MYERS, Linda Adams, of Wetumpka, Alabama passed away on Thursday, February 23, 2023. She was born on August 24, 1941 in Evergreen, Alabama.
Funeral services will be held at Gassett Funeral Home Chapel in Wetumpka, Alabama on Thursday, March 2, 2023 at 11:30 a.m. Graveside services will be held at Alabama Heritage.
Linda is preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Edna Adams, her sister Carolyn Adams and brother Jay Adams.
She is survived by her husband, David G. Myers; her daughters Lisa (John) Gray, Tracy Frost, Wendy (Dan) Flynn; grandchildren, Tyler (Lauren) Gray and Katie (Nate) Spargo; great-grandchildren, Wylam, Lucy, and Nora. She is also survived by her brother Mike Adams and numerous nieces and nephews.
Linda was a devoted mother and also caregiver for 58 years to her special needs daughter, Tracy.
Linda found great joy in spending time in God’s word and in prayer. She always looked forward to listening to the sermons and teachings of Charles Stanley and David Jeremiah. Even though she was home bound, her ministry was sending Bibles and devotionals to friends, family, and those she knew who were hurting.
