Obituary for Lena Julia Shaw
SHAW, Lena Julia, a resident of Equality, Alabama passed away Wednesday, March 1, 2023 at the age of 83.
The family will receive friends, Saturday, March 4, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. with the funeral service at 12:00 p.m. at New Life Baptist Church, 759 Coosa County Road 14, Equality, Alabama 36026 with Tim Hughes officiating. Burial will be at Seman Congregational Cemetery with Gassett Funeral Home of Wetumpka directing.
Mrs. Shaw is survived by her husband Howard Shaw; sons Stan (Wendy) Shaw, Mark Shaw; siblings Johnny Forbus, Barbara Faye Thomas, Charles Forbus; grandchildren Michael (Tesa) Shaw, Amber Heller (the late Doug Heller), Heath (Brittany) Shaw, Brad Shaw (Fiance Tabatha); great-grandchildren Addisyn Shaw, Hadley Shaw, Eli Shaw, Kathryn Shaw, William Shaw, Mary Wallace Shaw, and Lena Shaw.
Pallbearers will be Michael Shaw, Heath Shaw, Amber Heller, Brad Shaw, Micah Hughes, and Terry Flowers. Honorary pallbearer will be Charles Earl Thomas.
