Obituary for John Milton (Sonny) Norris Sr.
NORRIS SR., John Milton “Sonny”, a resident of Montgomery, Alabama passed away Sunday, December 11, 2022 at the age of 82.
The family will receive friends, Thursday, December 15, 2022 at 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Gassett Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held Friday, December 16, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. at Cain’s Chapel Church with Rev. Gary Stringfellow officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with Gassett Funeral Home of Wetumpka directing.
He is preceded in death by his siblings Lewis Andrew Norris, Charles Andrew Norris, and Laura Bell (Sis) Norris. He is survived by his children Natalie Ann Norris (Brown), John M. Norris, Jr. (Debbie); grandson Maxwell Brown; granddaughters Savannah Brown, Jessica Donde (Cory); many nieces, nephews, and cousins on Norris/Lewis family, as well as Pittman family.
Serving as pallbearers will be Max Brown, Byron Shell, Mickey Pittman, Rocky Pittman, Edward Norris, and Brad Watson. Honorary pallbearers will be John Wiggins, Dwight Headley, Sam Higgins, and Andy Watson.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Amedisys Hospice or Any local Humane Shelter or animal clinic.
