BONDS, Joel E. Sr. a resident of Wetumpka, Alabama passed away on Friday, March 24, 2023 at the age of 91.
The family will receive friends, Sunday, March 26, 2023 at 1:30 p.m. with a memorial service at Gassett Funeral Home Chapel at 2:45 p.m. with Rev. Charles Wise officiating. Burial will be at Durbin Creek Baptist Cemetery in Fountain Inn, South Carolina.
Mr. Bonds is preceded in death by his son Joel E. Bonds, Jr.; father; mother; and 3 sisters. He is survived by his wife of 26 years Nina Taylor Bonds; daughter Susan Bonds (Danny) Sloop; granddaughters Rachel Ann (Justin) Mills, Hannah Mills (Jarod) Elliott; great-grandson Rhett Anderson; step-children Alan (Allison) Nickolson, Jon (Diane) Nickolson, Juanita Fletcher, Ellen (Teddy) McCormick; 9 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.
