Obituary for Jo Ann Ellis
Mrs. Jo Ann Ellis, of Wetumpka, AL passed away on Monday, January 10, 2022 in a local hospital, at age 74. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, James F. Ellis; children, Dawn Ellis, Dwain Ellis, and Misty Ragsdale (& husband John), along with 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at Gassett Funeral Home from 10-11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 14, 2022, with funeral service to follow in Gassett Funeral Home Chapel, with Tex Grier officiating. She will be interred at a later date in Alabama National Cemetery in Montevallo.
Pallbearers will be Steve Tennimon, Tommy Tennimon, Dannie Tennimon, Josh Pritchett, Kris Pritchett, and Jacob Pritchett. Honorary Pallbearers will be Former Members of Wallsboro Volunteer Fire Department.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the American Diabetes Foundation, or Camp Seale Harris Youth Diabetic Camp.
