Obituary for Jasper Beroujon Roberts Sr.
Jasper “Chief” Beroujon Roberts, Sr., age 81, of Elmore, Alabama, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 20th, 2022. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 6, 2022, at Trinity Episcopal Church in Wetumpka, Alabama, with the Reverend Ally Perry officiating.
A dedicated son, husband, father, and grandfather, Jasper always put his family before himself. The simplest pleasures in life brought him the most joy. He loved cooking for and entertaining his family, watching his grandchildren play soccer, telling jokes, fishing, and cheering on the Alabama Crimson Tide football team. His charm, wit, and loving spirit were contagious and a blessing to those that knew him.
Born at St. Margaret’s Hospital on March 22, 1941, to Barbara Beroujon and Jasper Lehmond Roberts, Jasper made his home in Montgomery and later in Elmore County, Alabama. He practiced law in Montgomery and the surrounding area for over fifty years, tirelessly striving to provide his clients the best representation.
He is survived by his loving wife of fifty-two years, Susan Smith T Roberts; his sons, Jasper “Chief” Beroujon Roberts, Jr., (Mary-Coleman) of Montgomery and Foster Brett Roberts (Charity) of Wetumpka; and two grandsons, Payton Jasper Roberts and Benjamin Foster Roberts.
