Obituary for James (Jim) Harry
James (Jim) Harry was born February 6, 1953. He passed away peacefully on November 25, 2022.
The family will receive friends, Friday, December 9, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. with the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at Titus Baptist Church. Burial will be at the church cemetery with Gassett Funeral Home of Wetumpka directing.
He is preceded in death by his father Sherrod Harry; mother Leo Harry; brother Jack Harry; and sister Jane (Al) Huddleston. He is survived by his brother Billy (Sherry) Harry; nieces Tara Huddleston and JJ (Jim) Henderson; nephew Brett (Robyn) Harry; great-nieces Abby (Evan) Keller, Hannah (Josh) Simons, Emma (Kevin) Logemann, Molly Henderson, Claire and Kate Harry; great-nephews Jack (Ronicia) Henderson, Levi Henderson, and Sam Harry; great-great niece Annie Keller; great-great-nephews Jacob Keller and Ezekiel Simons.
Jim was a 1971 Wetumpka High School graduate and a 1975 Auburn University graduate. He worked as an accountant for the State of Alabama from 1975 until retiring in 2015. Jim was an avid hunter. Sharing his love of nature was the joy of his life.
