Obituary for Inf. Drake Edward Abernathy
Abernathy, Inf. Drake Edward, born on Tuesday, March 28, 2023, passed away on Wednesday, March 29, 2023 at Baptist East Hospital.
Drake is survived by his parents, Lance & Kassi Abernathy; siblings, Dylan, Lucas, Dani, Collins and Hallie; Grandparents, Lisa & Tony Lucas, and Cindy & Eddie Abernathy; Great-Great- Grandfather, Elmer Ferris, along with numerous aunts, uncles, and many cousins.
He was preceded in death by his great-great-grandmother, Shirley Ferris.
A celebration of life service for Drake will be held on Monday, April 3, 2023, at Thelma Baptist Church at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Doug Chappelle officiating.
