Obituary for Geraldine McGinty
MCGINTY, Geraldine, a resident of Wetumpka, Alabama passed away Friday, June 17, 2022 at the age of 96.
The family will receive friends, Monday, June 20, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. with the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at Thelma Baptist Church with Rev. Doug Chappelle and Rev. Tex Grier officiating. Burial will be at the church cemetery with Gassett Funeral Home of Wetumpka directing.
Mrs. McGinty is preceded in death by her husband Joe Mack McGinty. She is survived by her children Tommy (Ann) McGinty, Ricky (Beth) McGinty, Melissa (Rob) Boutwell; brother Labron Hawk; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.
Pallbearers will be Jeff McGinty, Allen McFaul, Thomas Gay, Seth Hawk, Kyle Hawk, and Ricky McGinty, Jr. Honorary pallbearers will be Tanner Smith, Robert Morgan, and Travis Thompson.
