Obituary for Earnest Newman Robinson
Earnest Newman Robinson, USMC, age 67 passed away suddenly on Wednesday, November 30, 2022 at his home in Montgomery, Alabama.
Earnie, or “Pete,” as he was affectionately known by his siblings and other close friends, is survived by his wife, Gaylyn Robinson, sons Jeremy and Brian Robinson, step-sons Trey (Crystal) McQueen, and Corey (Chelsea) McQueen, 10 Grandchildren, and his brothers and sisters. Preceding him in death was his parents, Francis and Betsy Robinson, two brothers, Frank Henderson “Bo” Robinson, and Randall Park Martin, and his sister, Sonya Robinson Mims.
Earnie enjoyed spending time with his family, “piddling” in his shed, photography, rappelling in his younger years, and traveling. Earnie was full of laughs and was always willing to help anyone who needed it. He was known by so many as a good man, and he will be dearly missed by family and friends.
