Obituary for Cora Sue Moody
MOODY, Cora Sue, a resident of Wetumpka, Alabama passed away Tuesday, May 17, 2022 at the age of 86.
The family will receive friends, Saturday, May 21, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. with the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at First United Methodist Church of Wetumpka with Rev. Ray Dunn, Rev. Steve Reneau, and Rev. Matt Albritton officiating. Burial will be at Memory Gardens, 21927 US Hwy. 280, Camp Hill, Al. 36850 at 2:00 p.m. with Gassett Funeral Home of Wetumpka directing.
Mrs. Moody is preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Moody; parents Weldon & Pearl Turner; sisters Eunice Davis, Hazel Pitchford; brothers Buck Turner and Bruce Turner. She is survived by her children Jon Moody and Shelly Moody.
Pallbearers will be David Barnes, Winston Sides, Kevin Moody, Chad Davis, Jesse Seamon, and Cedric Seamon. Honorary pallbearers will be Duane Beasley, Darwin Reeves, Rick Beauchamp, and Bob Reneau.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Rainbow Omega, P.O. Box 740, Eastaboga, Alabama 36260 or First United Methodist Church of Wetumpka Kitchen Fund, 306 West Tuskeena Street, Wetumpka, Alabama 36092.
