Obituary for Charles Eli Ozier
OZIER, Charles Eli, a resident of Wetumpka, Alabama passed away Thursday, August 5, 2022 at the age of 88. The family will receive friends Tuesday, August 9, 2022, at 9:30 a.m. with the funeral service at 10:30 a.m. at New Home Baptist Church with Rev. Eric Sutton officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery with Gassett Funeral Home of Wetumpka directing.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Nona “Ruth” Ozier in 2019.
Mr. Ozier is survived by his son Clint Eric Ozier; daughters Diane (Steven) Knop, Wanda (Tom) Flournoy, Vivian (Brian) Hollis. His brother Myron Reese Ozier, 8 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Special thanks to the friends and staff at The Gardens of Wetumpka where he resided for the past two years.
