WRIGHT, Charles “Charlie” Stephen, age 67, passed away on Tuesday, May 23, 2023 at Baptist South Montgomery. Charlie was a loving husband, father, and a dedicated grandfather. He loved music, and lots of sports. He especially loved the Alabama Crimson Tide. Anyone who knew him they knew he was one of their biggest fans. He worked at Dixie and Moody Hardware stores until he retired.

He is preceded in death by his father Charles W. Wright; mother Marjorie Mann Wright; and sister Debra Wright. He is survived by his wife of 46 years Valory Seymour Wright; children Stephanie Wright Jenkins, Jessica Wright; three beautiful grandchildren Caleb Wood, Tamia Harris, Tamya Wright; brothers Randy Wright, Pat Wright, Paul Wright; sister Lois Scarborough; nieces & nephews Keenya, Jamie, Rance, Dylan, Debra, Tommy, Jenni, David; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

He was truly loved and will forever be missed but never forgotten.

The family will receive friends, Tuesday, May 30, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. with funeral service at 2:00 p.m. at Gassett Funeral Home Chapel located at 204 East Charles Ave. Wetumpka, Al. 36092 followed by a graveside service at Greenwood Cemetery in Montgomery, Alabama.
