Obituary for Carl "Carson" Davis Jr.
DAVIS, Carl “Carson” Jr., went to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 10, 2022 after a four and a half year battle with ALS.
The family will receive friends, Saturday, February 19, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. with a memorial service at 2:00 p.m. at Gassett Funeral Home Chapel with Minister Steve Housley officiating.
Carson is survived by his wife Joy Davis of 25 years; daughter Ariel Brooke Davis; mother Linda Davis; brother Chaun Davis; nieces Ashley Miller (Billy), Courtney Jackson, Stephanie Dunigan, Shiloh Davis; sister-in-law Leigh Sandlin (Eric); brother-in-law Brad Jackson (Sharon); and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins; and his fur babies Blue and Charlie. He is preceded in death by his father Carl Carson Davis.
He enjoyed a 23 year career with the Department of Veterans Affairs in Montgomery, Alabama. Carson was a member of Eastern Meadows Church of Christ. Carson loved the Lord and talked to anyone who came to visit to make sure they were saved.
