Obituary for Betty Joyce (Giddens) Luckie
LUCKIE, Betty Joyce Giddens, a resident of Wetumpka, Alabama passed away Sunday, October 23, 2022 at the age of 86.
The family will receive friends, Friday, October 28, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. with the funeral service at 12:00 p.m. at New Home Baptist Church with Bro. Eric Sutton officiating. Burial will be at New Home Baptist Cemetery with Gassett Funeral Home of Wetumpka directing.
Mrs. Luckie is preceded in death by her husband Elvin Otis Luckie. She is survived by her children Randall Luckie, Pamela Ellison, William Luckie, Cynthia Davis; siblings Velma Schultz, Doris Saucer, Ole Mae Bowler; 8 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Keith Sauls, Jamie Luckie, Nathan Free, Chance Atkins, William Little, and Andrew Hams.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to New Home Baptist Church, 5130 Elmore Road, Wetumpka, Alabama 36092.
