Barbara Cheryl Parker Worley, of Wetumpka, AL, went to heaven, surrounded by family, on February 19, 2022.
Mrs. Worley was born on August 30, 1948, in Wetumpka, AL to the late George and Nellie Autrey Parker. She was preceded in death by both her parents. Mrs. Worley was married to George H. Worley for over 32 years.
Mrs. Worley was most recently employed as the Town Clerk for the Town of Elmore and previously spent many dedicated years working in the manufacturing industry.
Mrs. Worley is survived by her husband, George and their children; Shannon Patrick Elliott, and her husband, Mickey; Shawn Patrick; Charlie Patrick, and his wife, Chasity; Kim Brown and her husband, Eugene; Christy Emfinger; Amy Reinhardt, and her husband, Karsten. Mrs. Worley has 12 grandchildren; Taylor Lemaster (Trent), Taylor Walker (Corey), Hunter Elliott, Hannah Emfinger, Blayne Emfinger, Abigale Patrick, Dylan Patrick, Sawyer Patrick, Amanda Reinhardt, Trent Brown (Courtney), Kaila England (Christopher), and Ashlinn Corley (Tanner). She also enjoyed 8 great-grandchildren; Liam Elliott, Evelynn Walker, Silas Brown, Nehemiah Brown, Canaan Brown, Everly England, Trevor Corley and Thomas Corley. Active pallbearers are Mickey Elliott, Hunter Elliott, Dylan Patrick, Travis Emfinger, Blayne Emfinger, Eugene Brown, and Karsten Reinhardt. Honorary pallbearer is Sawyer Patrick.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Service will be held Thursday, February 24, 2022, at 2:00 PM at Gassett Funeral Home, Wetumpka, with Rev Glenn Goggans officiating. A graveside service will immediately follow at Pine View Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Mitts Chapel Baptist Church, 935 Cold Springs Road, Deatsville, AL 36022.
