HELMS, Ann Lee Johnson, a resident of Deatsville, Alabama passed away Tuesday, October 4, 2022 at the age of 84.

The family will receive friends, Friday, October 7, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. with the funeral service at 1:00 p.m. at Gassett Funeral Home with her son Jeff Helms officiating. Burial will be at Union Congregational Church Cemetery with Gassett Funeral Home of Wetumpka directing.

Mrs. Helms is preceded in death by her grandsons Elijah Helms and Joel Childress. She is survived by her husband of 68 years Wayne Helms; children Cindy Childress (Rory), Jeff Helms (Missy), Forrest Helms (Cindy), Troy Helms (Melissa); sister Judy Caffee (James); grandchildren Josh Childress, Rachael Mason, Whitney Helms, Shayne Helms, Judah Helms; great-grandchildren Evie Childress, Alden Barentine, Alexis Mason, Destini Mason, Dalton Mason, Jakob Helms, Hannah Helms, Emma and Allie Helms.
